Removal of Ash Trees on Private Property – City to Negotiate Prices to Help Citizens

Councillor Peter Hume has advised the Riverview Park Community Association that the City of Ottawawill be issuing a RFP/Request for Price for Contractors to bid on taking down ash trees on private property. The plan is for the city to negotiate good prices which will be available to private citizens. This should provide some cost relief for those with ash trees in their back yards that have been affected by the Emerald Ash Borer. We will post an update and the city notice once the agreements are finalized.
