The next general meeting ot the FCA [Federation of Citizens’ Associations of Ottawa] will be held Wednesday September 18 at Place Dupuis (Vanier Community Services Centre), 290 Dupuis Street from 7:15 pm. Each member association is invited to send two delegates to general meetings; observers are always welcome. 3. The City is in the process of revising the Official Plan (the master document on land-use planning in Ottawa). 4. Various organizations (City, United Way, U of Ottawa etc.) have worked on a Neighbourhood Study which outlines health and other factors in Ottawa neighbourhoods. 5. At the FCA Annual General Meeting held on June 3, the guest speaker was Dennis Jacobs, a certified planner with Momentum-Planning & Communications and formerly the head of Planning Policy for the City.
