As the Mayor has previously announced, on October 9th, the Transportation Master Plan, Cycling Plan, and Pedestrian Plan will be tabled at a joint meeting of the Transportation Committee and Transit Commission and will go out for a final round of outreach together with the Official Plan and Infrastructure Master Plan before being approved by their respective Standing Committees and Council. Specific Committee dates are provided below:

For this final phase of outreach before the approval of these plans, four Building a Liveable Ottawa information sessions will take place:  October 15, 2013 – City Hall – Jean Pigott Place, 110 Laurier Avenue West,4 to 8 p.m.

October 17, 2013 – Kanata Recreation Complex – Hall A, 100 Walter Baker Place, 4 to 8 p.m.

October 22, 2013 – Walter Baker Sports Centre – 2nd floor Food Court, 100 Malvern Drive, 4 to 8 p.m.

October 24, 2013 – Bob MacQuarrie Recreation Complex – Orléans , Covent Glen Room ,1490 Youville Dr, 4 to 8 p.m.

As outlined in previous memorandum on this matter, in recognition of the fact that not all residents will be able or interested in attending an information session, a suite of information resources designed to help residents understand how these plans will shape their particular neighbourhoods in the next 20 years will be released on October 9th on Ottawa.ca and to all Councillor’s offices.
