Hydro One has now completed the Class Environmental Assessment for this project. Comments and feedback received during the 30-day public review period of the Draft Environmental Study Report (ESR) were incorporated in the final ESR. A copy of the final ESR is posted on the project website: www.HydroOne.com/Projects/OverbrooktoRiverview
We are now planning to finalize the locations of the new poles so that we can provide this information at our upcoming pre-construction Public Information Centres planned for this summer. To identify where the new pole locations would be, starting May 15 Hydro One will be conducting soil testing by drilling various locations along the transmission corridor.  This work will be completed within one week, on weekdays between 7:00am and 5:00pm. The attached community notice will be mailed out today to everyone in the study area, including property owners living adjacent to the transmission corridor, to inform about this preparatory work. The notice also includes a map at the back which shows the approximate drilling locations.
